GENERAL AND SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE RENTALCONTRACT

IROISE VACANCES AGENCY

 

The aim of those general and specific terms and conditions is to answer any questions you may have about the terms, rules, and rental obligations.

This contract is written for the exclusive use of IROISE VACANCES Agency.

No modifications (alterations or additions) will be accepted without prior approval of both parties.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

The contracts will first be sent to you by email as attached documents.

If possible, the contracts should be signed, scanned and sent back to us by email. In the mean time, the cheque deposit of 25% of the total amount has to be mailed to our address within 48h.

If you are unable to scan the signed contracts, it should be mailed back to us with the cheque deposit within 48H in order to be validated. As soon as we receive them, you will be informed by email of booking confirmation. If you are not equipped with Internet access, all documents can be sent and returned by mail and you will be called back to confirm your booking (only after checking that everything is in order).

Balance of the rental (75% of total amount) shall be paid one month before the arrival. You will be informed when balance payment has been received and will be given the exact location of the rental.

Note for foreign guests : in case of a payment transferred from your bank account to ours, possible bank charges must be covered by your account.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

 

A security deposit (which is not cashed) will be asked upon your arrival. The amount will be specified on your contract.

The security deposit will be returned to you on those conditions :

Return of the security deposit upon the departure after an inventory in the following cases :

-         Complete housecleaning perfectly done.

-         Departure between 8am and 10am on a Saturday.

Return of the security deposit within 10 days in the following cases :

 -         Departure outside the given hours, i.e between 8am and 10am on a Saturday.

-         If you choose the complete housecleaning option. Our cleaning staff will check on the condition of the residence

-         If your accommodation is left in an unsatisfactory condition, we reserve ourselves the right to take housecleaning and/or work fees. If the security deposit is not enough to cover it, you commit to completing the sum.

ACCOMODATION

 

The guest commits to a normal use of the accommodation in accordance with its purpose.

Every item must be placed back in their place. If anything is found broken, we will ask you to replace it with a similar item.

OCCUPANCY

The number of persons mentioned for every accommodation is the maximum authorized number. It cannot be exceeded for security and insurance reasons. The guest commits to not exceed the maximum occupancy of the accommodation and to not sublease the accommodation. It is forbidden to place tents and caravans on the property.

INVENTORY

If the agency is unable to do the inventory upon your arrival, you have 24 hours to check the list of items in the accommodation and tell the agency in case of malfunction. After those 24 hours, the agency will consider the accommodation as being free from any damage or malfunction.

HOUSECLEANING, BED LINEN, AND TOWEL OPTIONS

The guest is in charge of leaving a clean accommodation and in good condition. A complete housecleaning option can be selected or the guest can take care it.

A detailing note is placed inside each accommodation with the instructions. A bed linen and / or towel option can be selected.

If those options are selected, it has to be mentioned while booking.

 

 USE OF THE RECREATIONAL ITEMS AND PLACES

 

SWIMMING POOL

 

If the accommodation is equipped with a swimming pool, the guests must follow the present rules and regulations. Bathing is without supervision, consequently parents are responsible of their children and responsible to watch them. The swimming pool must be closed after each use to ensure children’s safety. The management disclaims all responsibility in case of accident or theft. 

BIKES

 

If bikes are available in your accommodation, then they must be placed back in place in good condition. Otherwise, fixing fees will be deduced from your security deposit.

 

PETS

 

Pets are only allowed when the owner accepts to welcome them upon booking. You need to make sure that you have talked to IROISE VACANCES about your pet and that IROISE VACANCES has accepted or declined your request (it will be written on your contract). If you haven’t talked to IROISE VACANCES about your pet, the contract will be considered as broken.

Bring with you the pet’s health record booklet. Please remember to bring their usual mat or bed along with their usual blankets. All pets must be kept on a leash and mustn’t walk around the playground area or the swimming pool.

Never leave your dog alone when you are away from your rental, it could cause damages if the dog is stressed or cause inconveniences to others if the dog barks. Please note that your dog is welcome without additional cost. However, 
you can’t select the complete housecleaning option. The accommodation must be left in a good condition, clean and clear of dog hair. Be sure to mop the floors using the proper detergent (fragranced) to prevent any animal’s smell. The yard must be cleaned as well.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE

The cancellation insurance is offered for 1€ and is already included in the cost of the stay. If a situation prevents you from coming, the cancellation insurance will enable the total refund of your payment (please read the policy conditions of the insurance company).
IROISE VACANCES has taken out insurance with PM Conseil Assurance ORIAS 07 00012 as part of the LOCPLUS contract of the EUROPEENNE D’ASSURANCE VOYAGES, contract n° 7904961.1420184.443. IROISE VACANCES is offering it and includes it the day you return your contract signed.
In case of a situation, which is not covered by the insurance policy, the insurer has the right to claim the payment of the total sum due. Furthermore, the insurer has the right to claim the payment of the total sum due if the cancellation is not duly justified.
It is not required to subscribe to this insurance. However, the guest must attest of an insurance subscription with equal guaranties and join the certificate along with the signed contract.
If the guest declines the insurance taken out by IROISE VACANCES, then IROISE VACANCES disclaims all responsibility regarding what its insurance was covering like the cancellations or damages in the accommodation. The guest commits then to pay the entire price of the stay in case of cancellation. IROISE VACANCES shall not be held responsible.

CIVIL LIABILITY INSURANCE

In all cases, the guest is responsible for any of his damages. The guest has to make sure that a holiday clause (available in a foreign country) is included in his civil liability insurance / home insurance. If a holiday clause is not included, the guest shall take out an insurance policy with a reputedly solvent insurance company including a holiday clause. The civil liability insurance must include a protection against damage resulting from an unforeseen occurrence (fire, glass breakage, water damage, explosion). The civil liability insurance must also include a rental liability and claims by neighbors and third parties. The guest undertakes to provide IROISE VACANCES with evidence of compliance forthwith upon request.

LOCAL DISTURBANCES

IROISE VACANCES and tour operators cannot be held responsible for any local disturbances, exceptional circumstances or any case of force majeure that could disturb, suspend, or prevent your stay (e.g : climatic disturbances, noisy environment, work or construction undertaken …) 

RESIDENCE des ILES

If possible, the contracts should be signed, scanned and sent back to us by email. In the mean time, the deposit (bank transfer) of 25% of the total amount has to be mailed to our address within 48h to validate your booking, if not the booking will be cancelled. Please notify us by email about the sending of the deposit.

If you are unable to scan the signed contracts, it should be mailed back to us with the cheque deposit within 48H in order to be validated. As soon as we receive them, you will be informed by email of booking confirmation.   • During high season (July and August) bikes can be rented day by day, subject to availability.
  • During the rest of the year, bikes are available as a common good.

In every case, bikes must be replaced back inside their chalet. The bikes mustn’t be left outside or placed inside your accommodation.

They must be placed back in place in good condition. Otherwise, fixing fees will be deduced from your security deposit.

 

PETS

Pets are only allowed when the owner accepts to welcome them upon booking. You need to make sure that you have talked to RESIDENCE des ILES about your pet. If you haven’t talked about your pet, the contract will be considered as broken.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

If a situation prevents you from coming, the cancellation insurance will enable the total refund of your payment (please read the policy conditions of the insurance company) but you need to notify M. CESSOU via a registered letter about your cancellation. Cancellation will be charged as follow:

  • Cancellation registered up to 30 days before the beginning of the stay : 25% of the cost of the stay will be held back
  • Cancellation registered up to 29 to 8 days before the beginning of the stay : 50% of the cost of the stay will be held back
  • Cancellation registered up to 8 to 3 days before the beginning of the stay : 75% of the cost of the stay will be held back
  • Cancellation registered up to 2 days to the beginning of the stay : 100% of the cost of the stay will be held back
  • Any stay that has begun, or has been interrupted or shorten will not be reimbursed.

 

CANCELLATION INSURANCE

We recommend you to subscribe to a cancellation insurance ( Compagnie PM Conseil Assurances) that will enable the refund of the payment if a situation prevents you from coming (please read the policy conditions of the insurance company).
